The Preliminary Design Technician (AVP) - Sales bridges technical design and commercial strategy by proposing and costing innovative technical solutions tailored to client needs. This role ensures clear, structured communication between clients and internal departments, driving the pre-sales process from initial inquiry through to contract award and design implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management, Qualification & Dispatch of Enquiries (via Salesforce): Centralising, recording and analysing customer enquiries.
  • Pre-Sales & Technical Quotation: Clarifying customer enquiries and drawing up a cost estimate for the proposed solution.
  • Contract Preparation, Monitoring & Award: Drafting a commercial proposal and then forwarding the file to the Design Office for implementation.
  • Database management: Maintaining the database / Integrating new price lists.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's to Master's degree (Bac +3 to Bac +5) in a technical role or in a design office.
  • Knowledge in electrical engineering, mechanics, robotics, electronics, and industrial computing.
  • Fluent in both English and French (required).
  • Autonomy, initiative, customer service mindset, strong communication skills, team spirit, technical knowledge, and relationships.
