Mold Production Control Specialist
BizLink is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Mold Production Control Specialist to ensure the seamless execution of our mold manufacturing and maintenance operations. In this critical role, you will serve as the central hub for production scheduling, outsourcing management, and cross-functional coordination. By effectively managing material controls, tracking tooling progress, and maintaining comprehensive mold lifecycles, you will play a vital part in optimizing our manufacturing efficiency and supporting uninterrupted mass production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and schedule the precise progress of mold manufacturing to ensure strict adherence to project timelines.
- Monitor, track, and manage the progress of outsourced mold production and external processing vendors.
- Coordinate effectively between production and sales requirements while executing rigorous material control plans.
- Generate comprehensive daily and weekly production reports, and proactively troubleshoot manufacturing anomalies.
- Maintain detailed mold history records and strictly oversee the execution of mold maintenance and repair schedules.
- Execute other production control operations and ad-hoc administrative assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of proven working experience in production control, material planning, or mold management.
- High proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Deep familiarity with the end-to-end mold manufacturing process and related production operations.
- Solid professional capability in reading and interpreting basic 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
- Exceptional communication and cross-functional coordination skills to drive alignment between internal teams and external suppliers.
- Highly preferred: Practical operational experience and familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
