Stamping Mold Design Assistant Engineer
BizLink is seeking a highly motivated Stamping Mold Design Assistant Engineer to join our tooling team. This role is an excellent opportunity for aspiring engineers to build a solid foundation in precision manufacturing. You will assist senior designers in optimizing molds and fixtures, tracking project progress, and supporting the transition of new products into mass production. By combining your CAD knowledge with hands-on machining potential, you will play a supportive yet vital role in delivering high-quality tooling solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Optimize various molds, fixtures, and auxiliary manufacturing tools to improve production efficiency.
- Track the progress of tooling development, assist in troubleshooting, and help resolve any technical abnormalities.
- Participate in and support cross-functional reviews and evaluations for new product development.
- Collaborate closely with lead designers to perfect the development of stamping molds and fixtures, ensuring a smooth transition to mass production.
- Actively participate in internal and external professional training programs to continuously enhance technical competencies.
- Execute other engineering tasks and ad-hoc assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma, Associate, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- No prior experience is strictly required; highly motivated entry-level candidates and fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Familiarity with CAD software for mechanical and tooling design.
- Foundational knowledge or basic skills in product mold development, design, fabrication, and modification.
- Basic proficiency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing).
- Familiarity with bench work skills and manual fitting techniques.
- Plus: Practical experience in mold repair, assembly, and trial-run (tryout) improvements.
- Plus: Hands-on experience in operating machining equipment such as lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, drill presses, and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining)
