Senior PIE Engineer
BizLink is seeking a highly analytical and hands-on Senior PIE (Process & Industrial) Engineer to bridge the gap between product development and mass production. You will play a pivotal role in leading New Product Introductions (NPI), optimizing production line layouts, and streamlining assembly processes. By establishing robust SOPs, designing fixtures, and enhancing standard times, you will directly drive our manufacturing efficiency and ensure exceptional product quality for our wire harness and assembly lines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage New Product Introduction (NPI) and Production Verification Test (PVT) phases, encompassing process introduction planning, trial run monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.
- Establish and continuously optimize standard time (STD time) to drive process enhancements and maximize operational efficiency.
- Design and plan production line layouts, equipment allocation, and workflow routing to elevate human-machine efficiency and operational fluidity.
- Formulate, standardize, and maintain comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all production processes.
- Design production fixtures and conduct feasibility evaluations for the introduction of new automation equipment.
- Optimize product assembly and testing methodologies to simultaneously elevate operational quality and output yield.
- Execute other engineering projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Associate, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Maintenance, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of proven working experience in process engineering, industrial engineering, or manufacturing engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and AutoCAD.
- Solid skills in mechanical product troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and executing functional enhancements for production machinery.
- Capable of performing either 2D or 3D mechanical and fixture drafting.
- Proven hands-on experience in wire harness manufacturing or complex product assembly operations.
- Excellent cross-functional communication and integration capabilities to collaborate effectively with diverse departments.
