Profile Grinding Technician / Apprentice
BizLink is seeking a dedicated Profile Grinding Technician / Apprentice to join our precision tooling team. You will play a crucial role in shaping high-quality plastic and stamping molds by executing precision grinding processes, interpreting complex technical drawings, and maintaining strict quality standards to support our advanced manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze 2D/3D mold and machining drawings to ensure accurate manufacturing processes.
- Operate profile grinding machines to manufacture, modify, and refine precision mold components.
- Inspect, measure, and verify finished workpieces to ensure they meet exact quality and dimensional specifications.
- Maintain a safe, efficient, and highly organized workspace by strictly executing 6S methodologies within the tooling unit.
- Perform tooling maintenance tasks and support other machining projects as directed by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or Associate degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of overall working experience.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and visualize mechanical and mold machining drawings.
- Practical knowledge of mold installation, adjustment, repair, and routine maintenance.
- Basic proficiency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing).
- Plus: 3+ years of hands-on experience specifically in precision parts profile grinding.
- Plus: Proven experience in profile grinding for plastic injection mold components.
- Plus: Proven experience in profile grinding for stamping mold components.
