Mechanical Design Engineer(Tainan)
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end mechanical development of products, from initial feasibility assessment and quoting (RFI/RFQ) to structural design, prototyping, and mass production support. This role involves creating detailed 2D and 3D designs, evaluating mold feasibility, and selecting suitable mechanical materials through rigorous testing and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- RFI/RFQ product feasibility assessment and product quotation.
- Product structure design (2D & 3D) and structural mold feasibility assessment.
- Responsible for the testing and selection of institutional materials.
- Mechanism model making, testing, analysis, and improvement.
- Assist in solving organizational issues in mass production and manufacturing processes.
- Responsible for the production of engineering and technical documents for each product.
- Mould related affairs processing (mould opening review, mould trial, mould approval, etc.).
- Coordinate and discuss with factories (manufacturers) (matters related to product production/transfer).
- Communicate, discuss, and provide design solutions with customers.
- Matters assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Ability to draw with PROE 3D and AUTOCAD 2D.
- 3 years or more of product design experience.
- Need to be able to execute projects independently and be familiar with the manufacturing process of metal/plastic products.
- Logical thinking ability and good communication, and coordination skills.
- Good toolsCreo0 or above, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office.
