Equipment Manager
BizLink is seeking a strategic and highly technical Equipment Manager to lead our equipment engineering team and ensure the optimal performance of our production machinery. In this critical leadership role, you will drive comprehensive preventative maintenance programs, spearhead complex troubleshooting initiatives to maximize equipment uptime (OEE), and oversee the introduction of advanced manufacturing technologies. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, rigorous safety standards, and technical excellence, you will play a pivotal part in optimizing production efficiency and minimizing operational costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute rigorous preventative maintenance and regular inspection programs to ensure continuous and reliable equipment operation.
- Analyze and resolve complex equipment anomalies swiftly, implementing effective countermeasures to maximize machine utilization rates and elevate product quality.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the equipment engineering team while developing, training, and enforcing robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Optimize production efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs by strategically planning equipment layouts, streamlining workflows, and introducing advanced machinery.
- Ensure strict compliance with all workplace safety regulations and establish clear technical specifications and standardized instructional manuals for equipment.
- Oversee the comprehensive evaluation, procurement, outsourcing, and assembly processes for new manufacturing equipment to expand production capabilities.
- Execute other strategic engineering projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and ad-hoc managerial assignments as directed by upper management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of proven professional working experience in equipment engineering, with a strong background in team leadership and strategic management.
- Intermediate proficiency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) for professional technical communication and global documentation alignment.
- High proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and engineering design software, specifically AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Demonstrated hands-on skills in electronic product technology transfer, system testing, equipment maintenance, and new product quality inspections.
- Deep technical expertise with a profound understanding of production machinery principles and advanced failure analysis capabilities.
- Exceptional management capabilities with the proven ability to lead technical teams, strategize daily operations, and effectively manage departmental budgets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, utilizing statistical methods to diagnose root causes and implement sustainable, effective improvement plans.
- Solid business acumen with a demonstrated ability to actively control and optimize equipment, maintenance, and manpower costs.
- Uncompromising safety awareness with a strong commitment to establishing, enforcing, and maintaining rigorous workplace safety environments.
