Caring for Our Community: Why BizLink is Supporting Maternal Health

This perspective is what guided our recent decision to partner with the American Heart Association (AHA) for the Heart Ball in Fremont again. Through this initiative, we are proud to provide 75 New Mom Kits to local families, an effort designed to tackle one of the most critical, yet often overlooked, windows of maternal health: the postpartum period.

Focusing on What Matters

Many people are surprised to learn that high blood pressure remains a leading cause of complications during and after pregnancy. Conditions like postpartum preeclampsia can develop or worsen after delivery, often manifesting without clear or obvious symptoms. By providing these kits, we aim to offer families more than just supplies. We are putting life-saving monitoring tools directly into the hands of those who need them most, empowering them to detect issues early.
