Production and Material Control (PMC) Specialist
BizLink is seeking a highly analytical and proactive Production and Material Control (PMC) Specialist to serve as the critical hub between our supply chain and manufacturing operations. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in data analysis and system management to optimize production schedules, control material flows, and ensure the flawless execution of customer orders. By identifying bottlenecks and establishing proactive warning mechanisms, you will play a vital role in maximizing manufacturing efficiency, controlling costs, and ensuring on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the execution status of supplier material deliveries and customer order fulfillments continuously to ensure seamless production operations.
- Maintain the absolute accuracy of production system data and compile comprehensive, periodic operational reports.
- Analyze production achievement rates meticulously to identify manufacturing bottlenecks and propose highly effective improvement recommendations.
- Establish, monitor, and maintain visual production scheduling dashboards alongside proactive delivery lead-time warning mechanisms.
- Address and resolve unexpected production anomalies promptly by coordinating seamlessly with cross-functional departments to minimize downtime.
- Execute other production control initiatives, material planning operations, and ad-hoc assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Management, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related analytical discipline.
- At least 3 years of proven working experience in production control, material planning, or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) for professional communication and documentation.
- High proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word), with highly advanced Excel skills specifically required for complex data analysis and detailed report generation.
- Solid practical experience and operational proficiency with MRP methodologies and SAP ERP systems.
- Proven expertise in managing shipment schedules, issuing work orders, executing production lead-time management, and achieving strict capacity targets.
- Demonstrated capability in tracking production progress, maintaining smooth production line operations, controlling manufacturing costs, and estimating material/labor requirements.
- Deep foundational knowledge of advanced production scheduling principles, process controls, and material allocation methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills to resolve complex operational challenges effectively
