BizLink Announces Its Latest PV Connector “S418 R-Type”

The S418 R-Type connector features a rated voltage of DC 1500 V and supports wider cable outer diameters. With a robust snap-in locking design, the connector can prevent disconnecting issues under load. In addition, BizLink chooses Asahi and BASF plastic resin for the connector body to ensure the long-term operation of the PV connector.

The S418 R-Type connector meets the PV connector standards of IEC 62852 and UL 6703. It supports a cable range from 2.5 sqmm to 10 sqmm in accordance with IEC 62930 and EN 50618. It also conforms to the UL 4703 standard to support a cable range from 14 AWG to 8 AWG. Furthermore, the S418 R-Type connector with IP65 and IP68 (max. depth of 1 meter up to 24 hours) meets the latest IEC 62852 standard. It is specially developed to withstand harsh weather conditions and tough operating environments such as rainstorms, floods, and high-salt environments. In order to enhance easy installation and convenience, the connector is designed with pre-assembled housings and a gasket. The users can easily and intuitively assemble crimped terminals to the housing.
