Location: North America - Mexico - Juarez
Responsibilities:
- Evidence of internal problems and verification of implementation and effectiveness of the measures taken
- Performing root cause analysis and mitigation plans for internal and external issues in collaboration with supporting departments;
- Performs the control procedure for individual production lines and processes
- Monitors and implements test plans
- Analyzing of SPC cards and calculation of process capability studies
- Performs random audits at shop floor, focusing on compliance with regulations related to product control and quality
- Ensures the transfer of customer requirements to internal control processes
- Ensures the preparation of sampling of new products, documents for ISIR documentation
- Processes and records the error rate of individual lines/processes (AQM, ref. cards), suggests improvements
- Authority to stop production process if non-conformity appears
- Reports basic quality KPIs for the production area he is responsible for and submits a weekly and monthly report for this area to SVP EABU, Head of quality EABU, project manager EABU and Mexico plant manager
- Responsibility for following and adhering to the existing quality management system and environmental management system in the extension of the managed processes and tasks
- Proceeds other tasks according to superior´s order, related to the job description, exceptionally out of this description
- Participation in continuous improvement projects
- Approval of measuring equipment
- Creation and management of an error catalog
Useful for later development but not mandatory today
- Subsequently also performing 8D process and reports on customer request
- Participation in internal production readiness approvals for the full production line including output, equipment, ergonomy, material flow, etc. (eg. within Run and Rate)
- Moderation of local FMEA meetings
- Responsible for creating test procedures including acceptance criterias in collaboration with the engineering as well as SPC card with action limits and other required quality documentations
Responsible for planning a control procedure for each production step of a product and defines including frequency, amount of specimen, escalation procedure in case of NOK testing
Qualifications:
- Fluent English in speaking and writing, should have Spanish / Mexican mother language
