Fitter / Fitter Apprentice
BizLink is seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Fitter / Fitter Apprentice to join our tooling and machining center. In this hands-on technical role, you will be the craftsman behind our precision molds, utilizing your deep expertise in conventional machining, such as milling, grinding, and turning. By accurately interpreting complex 2D and 3D engineering drawings and rigorously inspecting finished workpieces, you will ensure our manufacturing molds meet the highest standards of precision and durability, directly driving our production excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret, analyze, and execute comprehensive 2D and 3D mold designs and detailed machining drawings with high precision.
- Operate and control conventional machining equipment safely and efficiently, specifically focusing on milling machines, surface grinders, and lathes.
- Execute and sustain strict 6S workplace organization methodologies within the mold machining unit to ensure a safe and efficient operational environment.
- Inspect, measure, and verify finished machined workpieces rigorously to guarantee strict adherence to required dimensional tolerances and quality specifications.
- Perform comprehensive mold installation, precise adjustments, routine maintenance, and complex repair operations.
- Execute other tooling projects, machining tasks, and ad-hoc assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of proven, hands-on working experience in tooling, fitting, mold making, or conventional machining.
- Basic understanding and proficiency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing).
- Strong demonstrated capability to read, interpret, and effectively apply complex 2D and 3D engineering and mold drawings.
- Deep familiarity and solid practical expertise with conventional machining tools, including milling machines, surface grinders, and lathes.
- Solid capability in operating basic precision measurement tools to conduct accurate quality and dimensional inspections.
- Highly responsible working attitude with a strong commitment to maintaining mold quality, structural integrity, and production safety.
