Automation Equipment Assembly Engineer
BizLink is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Automation Equipment Assembly Engineer to build, refine, and deploy our advanced manufacturing machinery. In this dynamic role, you will utilize your deep expertise in precision assembly and conventional machining to integrate both in-house developed and externally purchased automation equipment. By contributing to non-standard equipment development, conducting operator training, and drafting critical technical documentation, you will be instrumental in elevating our production capabilities and ensuring optimal manufacturing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the precise assembly and integration of in-house developed automation machines and customized manufacturing fixtures.
- Apply rigorous precision assembly techniques, focusing meticulously on critical mechanical components such as linear motion guides and ball screws.
- Modify, rework, and refine mechanical parts independently utilizing conventional machining tools, including drill presses, milling machines, lathes, and traditional fitter techniques.
- Perform meticulous mechanical adjustments, precision positioning, and comprehensive operator training for both newly purchased and internally built machinery.
- Draft, compile, and manage complete machine delivery and handover documentation to ensure smooth equipment transitions.
- Provide professional technical support and responsive service to resolve equipment issues effectively.
- Accommodate domestic or international business travel as required by project deployments and operational needs.
- Execute other equipment engineering projects, continuous improvement tasks, and ad-hoc assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of proven, hands-on working experience in automation equipment assembly, machinery building, or mechanical integration.
- Basic understanding and proficiency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing).
- Strong demonstrated experience in the mechanical design of automated assembly machines.
- Proven track record in the design, development, and deployment of customized or non-standard automated manufacturing equipment.
- Solid hands-on capability in modifying mechanical components using manual machining tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong foundation in mechanical principles and precision alignment.
- Highly preferred: Previous professional experience in a technical customer service or field service engineering role.
