PIE engineer
This Process Integration Engineering role serves a critical function in optimizing manufacturing processes and overseeing new product introductions (NPI). The core objective is to manage process setups, establish operational standards, and enhance overall process reliability for customer products. The professional will ensure seamless transitions from engineering to production, resolving manufacturing anomalies and driving continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish standards, optimize implementation, improve processes, analyze and resolve issues, and enhance process reliability.
- Manage the setup of manufacturing processes for all customer products, including workflows, work instructions, FMEA, time studies, and staffing allocation.
- Oversee the handover of new products (NPI) and evaluate process re-engineering and improvements for new products.
- Establish standard times and relevant operational standards, and provide training and guidance.
- Verify first-article samples and initial production runs for new products and molds; track and verify engineering changes; and track, verify, and implement improvements regarding anomalies involving new products, new materials, and process materials.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- AutoCAD drafting skills.
- At least three years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D software; basic English communication skills.
- Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI).
