Key Account Manager (KAM)
As the Global Key Account Manager at BizLink, you will step into a high-visibility role reporting directly to the VP of Sales Worldwide. Operating from our agile Hasselt hub and backed by our 65-year global legacy, you will take full P&L ownership to drive revenue growth and steer our strategic shift toward high-value, innovative product lines. In this impactful position, you will lead global negotiations and manage worldwide relationships with premium brands like Bosch Siemens, Electrolux, and Philips.
Key Responsibilities:
- Budget Management: You prepare the yearly budgets and take full responsibility for the realization of these budgets and KPIs.
- Driving Growth: You are responsible for driving revenue and EBIT growth.
- Key Account Management: You manage existing Key Accounts on an international level, including conducting yearly price negotiations to ensure reasonable margins and holding regular meetings with clients.
- Account & Product Expertise: You develop in-depth knowledge of your account’s product portfolio and actively follow up on new product developments.
- Business Development: You explore opportunities to develop new business with existing clients and strive for the acquisition of new key accounts.
- Reporting & CRM: You report on sales activities and ensure the CRM database (Salesforce) is kept up-to-date.
- International Coordination: You maintain strong relationships with sourcing plants, customer services, legal departments, and central functions across our global locations.
- Administration & Follow-up: You are responsible for offer handling and the complete administrative follow-up and reporting of your commercial actions.
Job Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree (preferably in Engineering) or a Bachelor’s degree combined with relevant professional experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in an international commodity or technical products environment. Experience in the electrical appliances industry is a strong asset.
- Competencies: Strong commercial insight, preferably with a background in electronics, mechanics, or chemistry.
- Language Skills: Fluent in Dutch, English, and French; knowledge of German is a significant advantage.
- Negotiation Skills: Assertive team player with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, comfortable building relationships at the senior level.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% of the time.
- IT Literacy: Proficient in office software and familiar with CRM tools, specifically Salesforce.
- Mindset: Hands-on, result-oriented, and able to find structural solutions independently within a large corporate organization.
