Key Responsibilities:
- Acquiring new customers, including abroad if necessary, as well as maintaining and expanding existing customer base in the field
- Identifying market potential among new customers and target customers in the marine & defence sector
- Preparation of market and competition analyses
- Technical and commercial processing of enquiries, quotations and orders
- Implementation of the company's operational market targets
- Interface between product development, project management and purchasing
- Participation in marketing campaigns and customer loyalty measures
- Representation at trade fairs and congresses
- Ensuring and expanding customer satisfaction
Job Requirements
- Completed technical degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering, or technical training and several years of experience as a technician in a sales role
- Extensive and indepth experience in technical sales of products requiring explanation (national and international), ideally in the areas of cables, connectors or cable systems
- Confident MS Office skills and good CRM (Salesforce) experience
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Confident manner, ability to work in a team and assertiveness
- Business fluent German and English
- Willingness to travel extensively in the UK and abroad
