Quality Engineer
The Quality Engineer is responsible for the end-to-end integrity of the manufacturing process and product output. You will lead the development of quality standards, drive root-cause analysis for anomalies, and serve as the technical point of contact for customer quality expectations, ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for participating in the development of product quality control, inspection methods, and standards; completing the development of quality documents (CP, SIP, etc.); and monitoring the implementation of requirements.
- Responsible for participating in pre-production briefings for new products; tracking the quality status of the first batch of products put into the process, and confirming the first article.
- Monitoring process yield; organizing analysis and improvement for products/production lines with yields that do not meet standards; and tracking the progress and completion status of improvement efforts.
- Responsible for leading process quality anomaly analysis, anomaly meetings, and quality improvement activities; and tracking the progress and completion status of improvement efforts.
- Responsible for developing measurement system analysis and process capability analysis plans and implementing them accordingly.
- Responsible for handling customer complaints and returns; tracking and confirming the implementation of improvement measures for customer complaints.
- Responsible for preparing quality-related documents and providing customers with the information they require.
Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or above, majoring in science or engineering.
- At least 5 years of work experience in the same industry.
- Knowledge of quality management and quality management systems; familiar with the five core tools of IATF 16949 (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA) and customer-specific requirements.
- Proficient in using quality tools, including the seven QC tools, SPC, FEMA, etc.; strong coordination and communication skills.
