Production Team Leader
The Production Team Leader is responsible for the direct supervision of operators on the AEC (Active Electrical Cable) assembly line to achieve hourly and daily production targets. This role requires fluency in Chinese to receive instructions from management and ensure technical specifications are accurately implemented on the floor. You will lead by example in precision processes such as cable soldering and manual assembly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Line Execution: Oversee the assigned assembly line to ensure smooth material flow and meet production quotas.
- Process Discipline: Ensure all operators strictly follow SOPs for soldering, cable preparation, and testing to maintain signal integrity.
- Quality & Rework Management: Identify assembly defects early and lead the team in immediate troubleshooting to maintain high First Pass Yield (FPY).
- Staff Instruction: Train new operators on manual dexterity tasks and use of precision tools (e.g., soldering irons, crimpers).
- Bilingual Reporting: Communicate line status, bottlenecks, and material shortages to Chinese-speaking supervisors in real-time.
Job Requirements
- Vietnamese National with good Chinese communication skills (HSK 4 or equivalent).
- Over three years in electronics assembly, with at least 1 year in a lead hand or senior operator role.
- Prior experience in Smartphones, Notebooks (NB), or Wearable devices assembly is highly valued if cable experience is unavailable.
- High School diploma required; Vocational or Technical certificate in Electronics is a plus.
- Excellent manual soldering skills and familiarity with micro-component assembly.
- Ability to motivate operators and maintain discipline on the production floor.
- Sharp eye for spotting visual defects in cables and connectors.
