Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design and development of new products, including conceptual design, detailed design, tolerance analysis, preliminary finite element analysis, and failure mode analysis.
- Responsible for research on new technologies, materials, and directions.
- Responsible for reviewing product specifications and designs with clients.
- Responsible for formulating product specifications and developing testing plans.
- Responsible for the production of engineering drawings, formulation of technical specifications within the factory, and issuance of engineering design changes.
- Responsible for analyzing the feasibility of production and manufacturing, and reviewing issues.
- Responsible for sample and functional verification and audit of engineering samples.
- Responsible for technical communication with suppliers.
- Cooperate with the market to provide necessary technical support to customers.
- Cooperate with the market to provide product manufacturing cost and feasibility plan evaluation.
- Participate in the analysis of trial production reports and collaborate with other departments to solve production problems.
- Responsible for managing the department, setting team goals, providing training and guidance to new employees, and enhancing the overall capabilities of the department.
- Responsible for the release of all the drawings and technical documents.
Job Requirements
- Mechanical/Material/Electronics/Mold-related majors. College degree or above.
- More than 10 years of connector or ALCI/PRCD design experience.
- Familiar with the new product development process.
- Proficient in using Pro/e, Solidwork, AutoCAD software to draw 3D/2D models.
- Familiar with the processing technology of connector products such as stamping/electroplating, injection molding/die casting, machining, assembly, testing, etc.
- Excellent English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Has good teamwork spirit, agile thinking, meticulous work, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Good communication skills.
