A Production Planner is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the production process to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods

Key Responsibilities:

To be responsible for reviewing customer Purchase Orders and committing the Sales Department to the delivery date in Sales Order Details.
To be responsible for releasing the Work Order upon receiving the Sales Order Detail from the Sales Department.
To be responsible for providing the Production Schedule to production.
To be responsible for updating the Material Shortage Report, advising quantity order requests, and working closely with the Buyer for raw material delivery dates.
To be responsible for issuing a Material Issue Note ( MIN ) to the Warehouse for preparing material for Production.
To ensure work orders are completed in a timely, accurate manner. Monitor materials fulfillment and WIP utilization.
To be responsible for implementing production planning and monitoring production output to meet customers' requirements and delivery dates.
To be responsible and solving any issue arising from the issuance of raw material. The Material Control shall resolve any excess issues, investigate the reasons for excess issues, and create systems to minimize their recurrence.
Authorized not to create a work order if no Sales Order.
Authorized to not accept customer pull in if full capacity and on hold production line if receive notice ECN or Non-Conformance.

Candidate must possess a Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing, Commerce, or equivalent.
Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin speakers.
