PIE ASSISTANT MANAGER
This role supports the Process Engineering Manager in optimizing and improving manufacturing processes through Lean, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. It involves leading engineering teams, driving process improvements, and coordinating cross-functional efforts to enhance productivity and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising process engineering activities
- State down the Job Function) 2Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and reduce cost/waste
- Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions for process issues
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Molding teams on process development
- Prepare and maintain process documentation, FMEA, control plans, and work instructions
- Monitor KPIs (Cycle Time, Yield, OEE, etc.) and report process performance
- Support in capacity planning, equipment layout, and manpower arrangement
- The Assistant Process Engineering Manager supports the Process Engineering Manager in overseeing and improving production processes
- Leading engineering teams, implementing lean manufacturing practices, and ensuring process efficiency, quality, and safety.
Job Requirements
- Degree/Master: Electronic & Electrical/RoboticEngineering Technology or Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, a related discipline or equivalent and demonstrated 5 year experience of experience in process engineering or manufacturing environment Prior involvement in largescale process improvement or automation projects is preferred
- Ability to interpret engineering design documents: ie. schematics, drawings
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma
- Familiar with PFMEA, control plans, and root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.)
- Skilled in process flow, line balancing, cycle time analysis, and work standardization
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and process simulation tools
- Good leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Able to work crossfunctionally and handle multiple projects
