IQC Leader
The IQC Leader ensures the quality of incoming materials for interconnect solutions by managing daily inspection operations, equipment, and personnel. This role drives continuous supplier improvement, maintains rigorous quality standards, and supports cross-functional defect resolution in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily IQC operations, including manpower planning, work assignment, and training of IQC inspectors.
- Perform incoming material inspections in accordance with SOPs, SIPs, engineering drawings, and customer specifications.
- Handle non-conforming (NG) materials and coordinate with SQE, Purchasing, and suppliers to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Follow up on 8D reports, Corrective Action Requests (CAR), and supplier quality improvement activities.
- Monitor and manage IQC KPIs, inspection reports, and MES data to ensure inspection performance and data accuracy.
- Manage measuring equipment, maintain 5S standards within the IQC area, and provide support during customer audits.
Job Requirements
- College degree or above.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IQC, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team management role.
- Experience in the connector, high-speed cable, or electronics manufacturing industry is preferred.
- Proficient in the use of inspection and measuring instruments, including vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and vision measuring systems (VMS).
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Language Requirement: Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin), with the ability to use Chinese as the primary working language.
