Key Responsibilities:

  • Global Account Strategy: You will design and take ownership of the global strategy for the designated OEM account to achieve sales targets and sustainably grow the customer relationship.
  • Strategic Partnership: You will build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships at all relevant levels of the customer's organization – from operational purchasing and engineering departments to top management.
  • Point of Contact: You will act as the central point of contact, coordinating all worldwide sales, project, and service activities for the customer in close cooperation with our subsidiaries in the Americas, Asia, and Europe.
  • Project Acquisition and Pipeline Management: You will oversee and support strategic customer projects and act as the central interface between the customer and internal departments such as Project Management, R&D, Product Management, Quality, and Supply Chain"?
  • Contract Management: You will lead complex price and contract negotiations and be responsible for drafting and finalizing global framework, logistics, and quality agreements.
  • Technical Solution Consulting: As a technical expert, you will clarify customerspecific requirements for complex cable systems and develop tailored, innovative solutions in collaboration with the customer and our internal Product Engineering team.
  • Project and Interface Management: You will lead strategic customer projects and act as the central interface between the customer and internal departments such as R&D, Product Management, Quality, and Supply Chain.
  • Technology Analysis: You will continuously monitor the customer's technology roadmap as well competitor activities to derive impulses for the further development.
  • Reporting and Forecasting: You will be responsible for creating sales and revenue plans, regular forecasts, and insightful reports to Head of Sales and VP Business Unit

Job Requirements

  • Qualifications: A university degree in a technical or businessrelated field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering) or a comparable qualification.
  • Account Management Experience: Several years of proven success in strategic key account management or in the technical sales of complex, customized products requiring detailed explanation.
  • Industry KnowHow: Ideally, you already have experience managing global OEMs and possess indepth knowledge of the semiconductor industry. Experience in the field of cable systems, connectors, or electromechanics is also a significant advantage.
  • Negotiation Skills: Excellent negotiation skills at an international level and the ability to confidently and successfully manage complex contract negotiations (e.g., global framework agreements).
  • Communication Excellence: Outstanding communication skills and a convincing, professional demeanor to build sustainable and trusting relationships at all management levels—from engineers to the Clevel.
  • Strategic Mindset: A strong strategic and analytical way of thinking to analyze customer needs and market trends and derive profitable strategies from them.
  • Personal Attributes: A high degree of selfinitiative, assertiveness, and a structured, independent working style, combined with strong teamoriented and collaborative skills to manage internal and external partners.
  • Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a musthave. German skills are a major advantage.
  • Willingness to Travel: Unrestricted willingness to travel worldwide for intensive onsite customer support at client premises and internal sites.
