Field Application Engineering (FAE) Manager / Assistant Manager / Senior Engineer
BizLink is seeking a highly technical and customer-centric Field Application Engineer (ranging from Senior Engineer to Managerial level) to serve as the critical technical bridge between our clients and internal R&D/manufacturing teams. In this dynamic role, you will leverage your mechanical design expertise to resolve complex technical challenges, present innovative product roadmaps, and propose continuous improvements. By ensuring seamless project execution and fostering deep technical trust, you will play a pivotal role in solidifying client relationships and driving the adoption of our interconnect solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and fluently with clients to ensure complete alignment on product specifications and engineering requirements.
- Proactively propose technical improvements and innovative optimization strategies for existing product lines.
- Conduct regular client visits to present current product portfolios and future development roadmaps, providing comprehensive technical information to solidify relationships and enhance customer reliance on our solutions.
- Investigate product issues raised by clients thoroughly, collaborating closely with factory R&D and QA teams to troubleshoot, resolve problems, and deliver satisfactory technical responses promptly.
- Assist in resolving specification or manufacturing challenges during the sampling phase by assessing factory technical capabilities, coordinating viable engineering solutions, and achieving consensus with clients.
- Execute other technical support projects and ad-hoc managerial assignments as directed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 8 years of proven working experience in field application engineering, technical sales support, or product engineering.
- Intermediate proficiency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) for professional technical communication.
- Proven expertise in project communication, cross-functional integration, and coordinating between production and sales operations.
- Demonstrated capability in project management, with the ability to drive technical projects from initiation to successful resolution.
- Strong background in mechanical structure design or prior technical experience within the connector industry is highly preferred.
- Strategic mindset with a basic understanding of marketing strategy formulation and technical product positioning.
