Customer Credit Manager

Responsibilities:

As the Customer Credit Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our Group credit policy and processes to ensure they align with current business and economic conditions. You will oversee the execution of customer credit operations across our global sites, monitor the creditworthiness of major customers, and provide guidance in handling abnormal customer payments. Your role is crucial in safeguarding our company's financial stability while enabling sustainable business growth.
  • Credit Policy and Process Management:
    • Continuously evaluate and update the Group credit policy and processes in response to changing business and economic factors
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that credit policies are effectively communicated and implemented across the organization.
  • Oversee global credit operations
    • Oversee and coordinate credit operations across our global locations, ensuring compliance with established credit policies
    • Review and approve credit requests, setting appropriate credit limits and terms for customers.
  • Creditworthiness Assessment
    • Monitor the creditworthiness of major customers through financial analysis, credit reports, and industry benchmarks
    • Develop strategies for mitigating credit risk and recommend adjustments to credit terms as necessary.
  • Customer Default Management
    • Lead efforts to manage customer defaults, working closely with legal and collections teams to minimize financial losses
    • Develop and implement recovery plans and negotiate settlements where appropriate.
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare regular reports on credit performance, including key metrics and trends, for senior management and stakeholders
    • Perform data-driven analysis to identify areas for improvement in credit management processes.
