PMC Supervisor
The PMC Supervisor is responsible for leading the Production and Material Control (PMC) team to ensure seamless coordination between sales orders and manufacturing output. This role requires professional fluency in Chinese to facilitate communication between the management and the local PMC team. You will oversee master production scheduling (MPS) and material requirement planning (MRP) for AEC products, ensuring optimal resource utilization and timely delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning & Execution: Lead the formulation and adjustment of master production schedules (MPS) and daily production plans based on customer requirements and capacity.
- Material Requirement Planning (MRP): Supervise the MRP process to ensure material availability for AEC assembly, while preventing inventory excess and aging stock.
- Cross-departmental Coordination: Act as the primary bridge between Sales, Production, and Quality departments to resolve scheduling conflicts and material shortages.
- Team Leadership & Training: Manage and train local Vietnamese PMC staff on ERP operations (e.g., SAP), planning logic, and departmental SOPs.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Track and report key performance indicators such as On-Time Delivery (OTD), schedule attainment, and material turnover rate to Chinese-speaking management.
Job Requirements
- Vietnamese National with professional fluency in Chinese (HSK 5 or equivalent).- Five years of PMC or supply chain planning experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Experience in Cable/Wire Harnessing is preferred. Candidates with PMC experience in Notebooks (NB), Smartphones, or Wearables are highly encouraged.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Logistics, or related fields.- Proficient in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems and expert-level Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of lead times, safety stock, and capacity planning for active electronics products.- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate under high-pressure manufacturing environments.
- Experience in working for a start-up factory in North Vietnam.
- Familiarity with Customs processes and logistics in Vietnam.
- Basic understanding of English is a plus.
