PMC Assistant Manager

As the Materials Assistant Manager oversees all PMC (Production & Material Control), warehousing, and logistics operations. Your mission is to establish a robust supply chain planning system that supports AEC (Active Electrical Cable) production, ensuring material availability while optimizing inventory turnover and reducing waste. You will lead the strategic alignment between production plans and business goals to maximize company interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Departmental Leadership & Planning: Lead all materials management activities, formulate departmental work plans, and set strategic goals aligned with company growth.
  • PMC & Production Scheduling: Oversee the accuracy of production and shipping schedules, coordinating between departments to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders (e.g., HP, Logitech).
  • Inventory & Cost Control: Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, driving targets for inventory turnover (e.g., <45 days) and managing excess/obsolete stock.
  • Warehouse & Logistics Governance: Supervise warehouse operations, ensuring 100% material accuracy, "First-In-First-Out" (FIFO) implementation, and organizing periodic physical counts (stocktake).
  • Supply Chain Integrity: Ensure transparency in material procurement and vendor coordination, enforcing zero tolerance for ethical violations in the supply chain.

Job Requirements

  • Five to eight + years of materials management or PMC experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in Cable/Wire Harnessing is preferred. Candidates with PMC/Materials experience in Notebooks (NB), Smartphones, or Wearables are highly welcome.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Production Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
  • Professional fluency in English and Chinese (both spoken and written).
  • Expert knowledge of SAP or Oracle ERP systems.
  • Strong numerical sense and logical thinking for complex production planning.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage cross-departmental and vendor relationships.
  • Experience in setting up materials/warehousing functions in a green-field factory in Vietnam.
  • Knowledge of customs clearance and import/export regulations in SE Asia.
