Plastic Injection Molding Engineer
BizLink is seeking a highly skilled Plastic Injection Molding Engineer to drive the development and optimization of our plastic manufacturing processes. You will play a critical role in bringing new products to life by managing mold trials, transitioning designs into mass production, and rigorously verifying product dimensions. Leveraging your expertise in injection molding and continuous improvement, you will ensure our precision components consistently meet the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and yield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize plastic injection molding production processes for new products.
- Execute mold trials (tryouts) and ensure a seamless transition and introduction into mass production.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production yield rates and overall manufacturing efficiency.
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) dimensional verifications to ensure products strictly comply with engineering specifications.
- Compile, organize, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation throughout all product development phases.
- Execute other engineering tasks and ad-hoc assignments as directed by the supervisor.
Job Requirements
- Associate, Bachelor's, or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in the field.
- Deep technical expertise and hands-on experience in plastic injection molding processes and technologies.
- Strong capability in reading, interpreting, and analyzing product blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in using 2.5D measurement techniques and related inspection equipment.
- Demonstrated skills and foundational knowledge in product mold development, design, fabrication, and modification.
- Basic proficiency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing).
