IE engineer
The IE Engineer is responsible for designing and optimizing the physical and procedural blueprint of our manufacturing operations. Your goal is to maximize throughput, minimize waste, and ensure that every workstation, movement, and second is utilized to its highest potential through rigorous time studies and layout design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and set up the overall factory layout, new product production line layout, and process line balancing.
- Responsible for pricing and time assessment for new part numbers and products, and (establishing) and updating the time database for workstation processes; improving material logistics processes; optimizing line balancing for existing products.
- Continuous product process improvement (establishing standards, optimizing implementation, improving processes, analyzing/solving problems).
- Other tasks assigned by superiors.
Job Requirements
- Associate's degree or above in a science or engineering field; Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related majors preferred.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience; strong team management skills, a strong sense of responsibility and self-management, strong learning ability and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and 3D software; basic English communication skills; familiar with the five core tools of IATF 16949 (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA); familiar with ISO 9001, ISO 45000, ISO 14000, and other system requirements.
- Good communication and coordination skills; familiar with IE techniques, REFA, FEMA, etc.
