BizLink Strengthens Its Optical Interconnect Capabilities with Acquisition of XFS Communications, Inc.

BizLink Holding Inc. (TWSE: 3665) (“BizLink”), a global leader in interconnect solutions, today announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire XFS Communications, Inc. (“XFS”), an established optical communication product supplier based in Shenzhen, China. Upon completion, XFS will become part of BizLink’s High Performance Computing Business Unit (HPCBU).

Founded in Shenzhen, XFS specializes in the design and manufacturing of optical fiber interconnect products, including single- and dual-fiber patch cords, pigtails, multi-fiber cables, and MTP/MPO assemblies. The company operates one leased production site with approximately 305 employees as of June 30, 2025.

This acquisition marks a strategic expansion for BizLink in the high-speed optical interconnect domain, reinforcing its advanced R&D and large-scale production capabilities to support next-generation co-packaged optics, AI data center, and high-performance computing applications.

Through the integration of XFS, BizLink aims to:

• Enhance capability in silicon photonics and co-packaged optics: This acquisition will significantly boost BizLink’s capabilities in the rapidly growing fields of silicon photonics and co-packaged optics, which are critical to the future of high-speed data transmission and AI data center solutions.
• Strengthen optical technology expertise: XFS’s experienced team with extensive expertise in optical fiber component development and manufacturing will bring deep knowledge in optical system design, manufacturing, and testing, enabling BizLink to accelerate its in-house development and enhance product innovation.
• Establish optical fiber assembly capacity: XFS’s advanced and highly automated production lines will serve as BizLink’s key optical assembly hub, supporting large-scale production with consistent quality and efficiency.
• Expand strategic customer base: XFS’s existing relationships with global optical communication leaders will broaden BizLink’s customer portfolio and strengthen its market presence in data center interconnects.
• Broaden product portfolio and integration: The combination of XFS’s optical fiber solutions with BizLink’s high-speed copper and hybrid interconnect technologies will create a comprehensive, one-stop solution portfolio for AI infrastructure customers worldwide.

The addition of XFS represents a major step forward in BizLink’s optical interconnect roadmap. By combining BizLink’s global platform with XFS’s expertise, BizLink is well-positioned to accelerate innovation and deliver integrated solutions for AI and data center customers around the world. The transaction is expected to close by the first quarter of 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. The acquisition will be financed through an all-cash transaction.
