Location: Indonesia-Batam

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team warehouse assistant, supervisor and executive by providing necessary coaching and support on warehouse managing activities as well as professional growth development in the department.
  • Develop and implement systematic warehouse processes and procedures to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and inventory control.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production planning and purchasing teams to ensure adequate stock availability while minimizing excess inventory
  • Optimize warehouse layout and storage configurations to maximize space utilization and facilitate efficient material flow to production.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for warehouse personnel.
  • Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to support production schedules and customer requirements within warehouse management capacity.
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyors.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned by your direct supervisor or General Manager
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistic, business administration, or business related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • At least 10 years of experience in warehouse management roles in production or manufacturing environments with at least 5 years in leadership roles with proven success track records.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, procurement processes, and contract negotiation strategies.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles, 5S methodology, and Kaizen techniques
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
  • Forklift certification and experience operating material handling equipment.
  • Experience with international shipping and import/export processes is a plus
  • Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations
  • Positive mindset and Can Do Attitude
