Technical Program Manager
As a Technical Program Manager (TPM) for High-Speed Interconnect, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the successful development, manufacturing, testing, and verification of high-speed interconnect solutions, including network interface cards (NICs), high-speed cable connectors, and system architecture components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
- Proactively manage project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among crossfunctional teams.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineering teams throughout the development process.
- Ensure alignment between product requirements and technical specifications.
- Review and approve engineering designs, prototypes, and test plans.
- Manufacturing Oversight:
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes and improve yields.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor manufacturing performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Testing and Validation:
- Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive testing plans.
- Ensure that products meet all performance, reliability, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with quality assurance teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Project Control:
- Track project performance against key metrics, including cost, schedule, and quality.
- Prepare regular project status reports for management.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
- Communicate project progress and address stakeholder concerns effectively.
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management within the electronics or networking industry, preferably with NIC products.
Job Requirements
- Understanding of the data center rack system architects.
- Experience in networking switch and server product development.
- Strong technical understanding of NIC card architecture, components, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced, collaborative environment.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of industry standards and certifications related to NIC cards, ie. PCI Express, Ethernet, and OCP.
- Fluency in English is preferred.
