Sales Representative

The Business Development Specialist plays an important role in the development of the Electrical Appliances Assemblies business. He/she will be based in our Xiamen/Changzhou office, but frequent travels to the customers will be required. The role offers the candidate the opportunity to be part of the Sales Team and to develop target accounts and market segments with decision making units predominantly within China.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Main responsiblities:
  • Focus on new customer acquisition. Identification of target customers, company research as well as identification of contacts with customer approach.
  • Building up of own customer base with development to account manager.
  • Joint business development and development of new market segments. Active cooperation with product development, procurement and manufacturing.
  • Customer visits and presentation of the company. Active followup of inquiries and projects. Must follow the rule pricing, copper model and adjust procedure.
  • Clear communication of MOQ, lead time with internal and external partners.
  • Must be able to handle the contract issue from customer, be able to find solution for the items of contract with internal and external partners.
  • To report sales activity and to keep the CRM database uptodate.
  • To develop in depth knowledge of BizLink product portfolio, manufacturing processes and be able to explain to the customer.
  • To understand the strategic impact of future developments within the assigned market segments, be it related to technical innovations, logistical requirements, or regional/international business development plans.

Job Requirements

  • Qualifications:
  • Relevant professional training of at least 3 years (entrylevel) or 1 to 3 years of professional experience in the cable industry and/or inside sales.
  • Basic technical background or knowledge or strong interest and willingness to learn technical aspects.
  • Strong customer and success orientation
  • Understanding of financial KPIs (e.g. working capital) is recommended
  • Strong interest in design, innovation and new product development
  • Excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to set priorities and capable of multitasking.
  • Multicultural: able to deal with interfaces of diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Flexible and willing to travel up to 60% of the time.
