PMC Team Leader
The Materials/PMC Team Leader is responsible for the front-line execution of production schedules and material coordination for the AEC (Active Electrical Cable) assembly lines. This role requires fluency in Chinese to accurately communicate material status and schedule updates between the supervisor and the production floor. You will monitor material flow from the warehouse to the line, ensuring that high-speed cable production targets are achieved without interruption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Material Tracking & Kitting: Material Tracking & Kitting / 物料追蹤與套料: Coordinate with the warehouse to ensure all raw materials for AEC assembly (e.g., connectors, wires) are kitted and delivered to the line on time.
- Daily Schedule Monitoring: Monitor hourly production output against the plan and report any deviations or material shortages to the supervisor immediately.
- WIP & Inventory Control: Track Work-In-Progress (WIP) levels on the floor and assist in managing material returns or transfers to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Data Entry & ERP Maintenance: Perform daily system transactions in ERP (e.g., SAP/Oracle) to ensure material consumption reflects actual production.
- Bilingual Communication: Translate and relay production priorities from Chinese-speaking management to local production and warehouse staff.
Job Requirements
- Vietnamese National with good Chinese communication skills (HSK 4 or equivalent).- Over three years in PMC, materials control, or production assisting, with at least 1 year in a lead hand role.
- Prior experience in Smartphones, Notebooks (NB), or Wearable devices materials control is highly valued if cable experience is unavailable.
- High School diploma required; Associate degree in Logistics or Business is a plus.- Basic experience with ERP systems and proficiency in MS Excel for material tracking tables.
- Ability to understand production BOMs (Bill of Materials) and material lead times.
- Strong ability to coordinate between warehouse and production departments under pressure.
