Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Engineer
BizLink is seeking a highly vigilant and proactive Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Engineer to safeguard our workplace and ensure sustainable operations. In this critical role, you will champion a zero-incident culture by driving hazard control, conducting rigorous audits, and ensuring strict compliance with local EHS regulations. By implementing and maintaining ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards, managing contractors, and overseeing waste and fire safety protocols, you will play a foundational role in protecting our employees and minimizing our environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate, supervise, and execute comprehensive occupational safety and health management plans, including disaster prevention and emergency response strategies.
- Identify potential workplace hazards, conduct thorough risk assessments, and implement effective risk control measures.
- Plan and execute regular EHS audits, equipment safety inspections, and facility walkthroughs, while rigorously tracking corrective actions.
- Design, organize, and deliver comprehensive occupational safety and health training programs for all personnel.
- Manage contractor safety effectively, encompassing site entry control, documentation review, and on-site construction inspections.
- Investigate, analyze, report, and track any occupational incidents, injuries, or health-related events to prevent future recurrences.
- Plan and coordinate annual employee health examinations and drive workplace health management initiatives.
- Ensure all company operations strictly comply with the latest labor safety and environmental regulations, and maintain meticulous systematic documentation.
- Manage annual fire safety equipment inspections and reporting, and coordinate self-defense fire brigade training and drills.
- Source legally certified waste management vendors and handle official waste disposal reporting procedures.
- Drive the implementation, maintenance, and internal auditing of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems, and manage hazardous chemicals safely.
- Execute other EHS-related projects and ad-hoc assignments as directed by the management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Environmental Engineering, Public Health, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of proven working experience in environmental, health, and safety management within a manufacturing environment.
- Intermediate proficiency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing) for professional communication and documentation.
- Deep familiarity and practical experience in maintaining and conducting internal audits for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
- Possession of a valid Level B Occupational Safety and Health Management Specialist certification (乙級職業安全衛生管理技術士) or higher is mandatory.
- Possession of advanced certifications such as Level A Occupational Safety/Health Management Specialist is highly preferred.
- Possession of an ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certificate or a Level A Waste Clearance/Treatment Technician license is a strong plus
