Production Engineering Manager

Location: Indonesia-Batam
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of production engineers, technicians and line supervisors by providing necessary coaching and support on daily operation activities as well as professional growth development in the department.
- To plan the production schedules and ensure that production targets are achieved in terms of output and timing while maximizing efficiency and resource utilization
- Identify opportunities and implement programs for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost savings through data analysis and performance monitoring on overall production activities
- Ensure managed production activities are in compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Implement and maintain internal quality control measures to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and address quality issues in a timely manner whenever necessary
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including purchasing, planning, manufacturing, and logistics to optimize production processes.
- Coordinate with process and industrial engineering teams to ensure smooth transition of new products from design to production.
- Perform all other related duties as assigned by Plant Manager or General Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical & Electronic, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
- At least 10 years of experience in Production Manufacturing with at least 5 years in leadership roles with a track record of success in optimizing production processes and leading teams.
- Strong decision-making and people management skills
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma Certifications preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization.
- Able to perform in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Able to work well under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations
- Positive mindset and Can Do Attitude
