Location: Greater China-Taiwan-New Taipei City

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledgers. Special focus on cost management and tax planning under maquiladora arrangements.
• Ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at month-end and year-end
• Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the periodical and ad hoc corporate internal audits
• Coordinate with manufacturing team and assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy, completeness and relevance to business results
• Support manufacturing team and perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested by local and corporate leadership
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
• More than 8 years of accounting experience in manufacturing environment, some of which are in supervisory positions. Applicants who are familiar with the operation and supervision of export processing zones will be given priority.
• Have a thorough understanding of IFRS and U.S. GAAP
• Proficient in using SAP. Knowledge of Oracle FCCS is a plus
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish at all levels of the organization
• Strong leadership skills and commitment to driving and achieving results
• Understand employee relationship building and performance management techniques
