Location: US-California-Fremont (HQ)

Job Summary:

Work with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) customers on the MEMS (Microelectromechanical Systems) design and manufacturing support of cables and wire harness production; review customer prints and BOMs (Bills of Materials) based on mechanical/electrical functions, component compatibility and manufacturability. Improve manufacturing process, optimizing assembly procedures, escalating fixtures, and establishing SOP (standard Operating Procedures). Coordinate engineering related issues with Asia factories to solve quality issues by using root-cause analysis tools to conduct failure analysis, and provide solutions to help manufacturing and cost reduction. Support local NPI (New Product Introduction) production by creating CAD (Computer-Aided-Design) drawings, 3D modeling and simply 3D printing, SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; 2 years’ experience in job offered or as Mechanical Engineer. Academic or experience background in MEMS, failure analysis by root cause analysis tools, maintain BOMs, establish SOP, improve manufacturing process, and optimize assembly procedures. Will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience.

Salary Range:

$114,546/year to $137,300/year.
