BizLink elocab Ltd (“BizLink Canada”), is located in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, and provides custom designed cable solutions for the Industrial and Healthcare markets. Due to continued growth we are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Finance Team.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Finance Manager.
- Complete month end process, including analysis and reporting
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly financial statements including supporting schedules and journal entries
- Maintain general ledgers
- Play a key role in the annual budget as well as quarterly forecast processes
- Support the ongoing forecasting of financial performance by providing expertise in terms of Revenue & COGS.
- Provide timely relevant and accurate analysis of costs, monitor vacancies, identify trends, and explain significant or unusual fluctuations
- Implement and improve processes and procedures
- Perform ad hoc analysis and duties as required
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- 5+ years experience
- CPA designation or working towards it
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)
- Experience with an ERP system
- Good organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong problem solving skills
