Overview:

The General Manager will be responsible for the overall operations and performance of our cable, electronics, and system manufacturing facility in Batam, Indonesia. This role requires a strong leader with extensive experience in the cable, electronics, and system industry and a proven track record in factory management. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the business, including production, quality control, finance, and human resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective production processes to achieve the best quality, cost effectiveness and delivery on time to customers. Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Financial Management: Develop and execute financial strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Monitor key financial metrics and drive profitability.
• Human Resources: Build and lead a high-performance team, ensuring the staff are motivated and productive.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality control systems to ensure product quality meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of experience in the cable manufacturing industry, including more than 8 years of daily factory management experience
• Proficiency in English, Bahasa/ Malay. Mandarin communication is necessary for interacting with international clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Proven track record in leading and managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
• Proven track record working with world-class multinational customers.
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
